From Italy to Arizona
My name is David Moscal, founder of STONESTRY LLC.
I was born and raised in Italy, where I studied Electronics and Biotechnology.
After entering the workforce, I realized I wanted something different.
I’ve always been driven by the idea of building something of my own, creating value through hard work, and being responsible for my own success.
That desire brought me to the United States.
During my first visit, I was inspired by the people I met, the opportunities available, and the entrepreneurial spirit that seemed to be everywhere.
I returned to Italy, completed the necessary paperwork, and moved to Arizona to pursue a new chapter.
The stone industry wasn’t something I inherited—I learned it from the ground up.
Through years of hands-on experience, mistakes, lessons, and continuous improvement, I developed a passion for craftsmanship and quality work.
My background in Biotechnology helps me understand the chemistry behind natural and engineered stone, while my Electronics education gave me a strong foundation for working with CNC technology and modern fabrication equipment.
Today, I’m proud to serve homeowners, designers, and builders throughout Arizona, creating beautiful and lasting stone surfaces with attention to detail and no shortcuts.
